According to Peter Gibbs on the Countryfile weatherforecast the weather
will change after this frontal system clears. An High Pressure Area is
due to move up from out in the Atlantic.

Well the phases allow for it but it isn't going to be a nice spell.
It's going to be thundery. He hinted that it will fail sometime after
the mdle of the week.

This is what the astrometry is saying:
On the 11th (Tuesday) the time of the phase will be be 03:02. So there
will be an high and there will also be a low. The fronts formed will be
humid, thundery and warm.

Today and on Monday the moon is at its maximum declination south. And
on the 11th it will only be at 25 degrees south. On the 15th the
declination will be well on its way to the equator and that is about
when we will see most of the thunder.

I guess that Mr Gibbs' forecast does fit nicely around that scenario. A
couple of nice days and a thunderstorm.

No, it *is* going to be a nice spell. Well, nice if you like your temps
in the 25-30C range with a good deal of sunshine.
And he hinted that there might be a breakdown by next weekend,
no earlier. And he sounded pretty uncertain about that so it was
probably just a teaser.

No, it is not going to be a nice spell unless I am wrong or unless you
like the high temperatures to be accompanied by high humidity.

There was nothing in that forecast that predicted high humidity.
Unless, of course, you know better.....

I don't like being wrong, I don't like high temperatures and don't like
humid weather -winter or summer.

I do like thunder-storms though. So it ain't all bad.

It was nice to see the Atlantic Chart used on the BBC. It was nice to
give an almost full week's supply of weather too. Most unusual. Well
done that man.

Sadly the CF forecast seems to be the *only* time on the BBC forecasts
that we get to see synoptic chatrs.
Perhaps they think that the audience might be rather less 'dumbed down'
than their usual post 6 O'clock News audience, I dunno.

Increasing signs now, for another long lasting heatwave.
Possibly as intense as the last one

I'll be enjoying some good night's sleep from now until Thursday.

Not everyone enjoys it, and it's bad news for the water situation in
the South-East

Remember people with Hayfever & Athsma suffer bigtime during spells of
high heat & humidity. (Hardly ever mentioned in the news)

Why wait for an Atlantic chart to appear on the BBC?

Why not just go to http://www.weatherpage.se/ and look at as many (or
as few) as you like?
