The much respected Roeder is looking way off for August based on current
and predicted synoptics:-
It's worth mentioning the forecast was made in May - there haven't been
any
updates for three months on that site.



Aye Darren. For that I have respect! How many long range forecasts, not to
mention the MO's seem to change it on a bi-weekly basis, that in my mind is
not a long range forecast, it's an admission of failure!

The science of forecasting the forecasting of forecasts has been neglected
for many years.
