It's the same stuff that came through Birmingham between 8am and 9am, pretty
torrential rain, and towards the end of it thunder. Now bright and sunny, quite a contrast! "Lockzie" wrote in message ... "Steve Pardoe" wrote in message ... From the forecast this morning these showers were supposed to dissapate well before they got anywhere near here. However given their potency/proximity and the fact they were clearly heading in this direction I was a little surprised by that forecast. Now lightning..... -- Col Bolton, Lancashire 160m asl |

Very heavy rain with thunder here Col around mid morning and got rather wet on the bike on the way home.
