Have you considered taking up the triangle? ;-)


Drifting even more off topic - though big bangs are involved - you've
reminded me of the classic Charlie Drake sketch (black-and-white original
preferred) where he took all the parts of an playing the 1812 overture.
Every so often, the camera would switch to the triangle player who could be
seen counting up to his time to play. As the sound of the big finale died
away, the camera switched back to the triangle player who was still
counting. He looked round and, as he realised he'd missed his big moment,
his face crumpled in tears.

I remember that sketch - but that's not the reason I married an orchestral

percussionist who hits the right notes. (Well used to - no - don't quote me
on that!)
