I'm just being lazy really, as I've got all the major search engines in a folder under favourites. Just type TEST (in caps) into the new website's search engine and copy the URL it goes to. Click that in the drop down that allows you to add the new search engine. Yes, I know that. The trouble is the default search engine always reverts to Google. You can change the default OK, but if you have the Google tool bar installed when you restart IE the defualt reverts to Google. I suspect it's a sly bit of code Googles slipped in. Graham |

Graham I have the Google toolbar and when I changed my deafult search engine using internet options it stoped the change and gave me the option of then going ahead amd changing the option. I have done this and reloaded IE7 after closing down and the new search engine is the default. You can have a drop down list of search engines accessed on the right of the search box - it's quite a nice feature. Alan |

Still, no real worries. I've now got a couple of other search engines loaded as tabs on startup. Graham |
