Snow pics from the northwest
Good evening everyone.
Even though it hasn't snowed in the northwest of the country (Epirus, prefecture of Ioannina) for the last week, snow is still a problem. Here are some pictures I was sent today from the region: Peristeri mountain (2225m) http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/PERISTERI.JPG a house at 1400m: http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/SPITAKI1400.JPG and a farm: http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/STAVLOS1400.JPG Tsepelovo village: http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/TSEPELOVO1.JPG town of Metsovo: http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/Metsovo1.jpg http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/METSOVOCAR.JPG http://dias.aueb.gr/~kxv/tzedes/Metsovo.jpg I'm not sure if temperatures have dropped below -12C there yet.
