"The Environment Agency is warning of a risk of possible flooding in
parts of the East Midlands.

The agency said floods could occur on roads and low-lying land near
several rivers in the region.

It is advising residents to take particular care around the Rivers
Sence and Soar in Leicestershire and the River Trent in Derbyshire.

Recent spells of heavy rain have left the waterways running at
dangerously high levels."
