Intense snowfall for last half hour. Settling on hills but just too warm in
town.

If this keeps up for a couple of hours the North Downs will get quite a
covering.

I've popped home to the very extreme other side of Kent (Orpington in
the NW) and it's all pretty clear here. Will be interesting to see if
anything decides to fall here. From the radar it looks like Faversham,
Herne Bay, Chatham type way getting quite a few sharp showers.

Nothing at all in Canterbury. Not even cloud! I did, however, hear of a
sharp hail shower in Whitstable earlier this evening.

Light to moderate snow in Orpington just as I was leaving which was
nice to see on top of a smattering overnight in association with a
ENE-WSW band that seems to be moving in across NW Kent.

I can now officially, for the third time on the newsgroup this winter,
declare winter over. You heard it here thrice !
