Another heat wave on its way?

philip eden in his late night broadcast on radio5 last night was talkin

about
possible high temps over bank holiday maybe 30 -32, any further details of

this
anyone

i have mixed feelings i dont like the heat but would love to see the

august CET
beaten

Same here. I have seen a couple of forecasts saying that there is another
hot spell brewing up. Metcheck have a report. I know a lot people are not
enamoured of them so I have looked further. Weather action 14 are quite good
and they show high 20s for Sunday and Monday.
If philip Eden is suggesting there is another hot spell due- he is very
accurate so I would get ready for another hot stinker. Plenty of drink, the
fans and airconditioners at the ready.
Another point. Lets have a good hot weekend. After all how often is the
August bank holiday decent? I'd love to see this August CET record in the
bag. We have 19.2 to beat for the August CET and 19.5 to beat the all time
CET (July 1983). Its a high stake.

Regards, Gavin

Horribly hot does not equal "decent". I'm hoping for nothing over 22.

Simon, we may have disagreed over Fahrenheit , but in this case I very much
agree! :-))

Won't your air conditioner ensure that - at least indoors? :)

You must be like me, a heat-hater - I'm just clinging to the knowledge
that we're well into the 2nd half of August, and therefore the potential
for extreme heat will soon begin to diminish rapidly.
