Only a couple of brief showers made it over the mountains to here this
afternoon. On the whole it's been quite fair with a cool breeze. Not particularly windy at any stage. With the dew point now below zero, I'd expect any further showers here this evening to be of a snowy disposition. Was just above your place Sat morning... Interesting conditions up there.. Legged it back down sharpish, abandoning plans to go to the next hill, when it became difficult to actually stay attatched to the hill. Tracks in the snow showed that one person turned back shortly before the summit. Fortunately my summit visit coincided with a dry interlude, but it was thoroughly nasty otherwise.. Really enjoyed it, but glad to get down. Funny how different parts of the hill get different winds and the way the wind picks up in the showers , a lot of the descent was in calm, yet I was blown over crossing the dam at Auchengaich.
