[WR] February in Lundie, near Dundee (a bit late)
February 2007 in Lundie, Angus, in the Sidlaws, 10 miles NW of Dundee
Average temperatures, but the new record wettest February in my records (since 1996), with 112.7 mm of precipitation. Quite a dull month. There are cold snaps 6-11th, and on the 27th we woke to the heaviest snow of the winter so far - a couple of inches. Average maxima = 7.3 (-0.1) Average minima = 1.1 (-0.3) Overall average = 4.2 C (-0.2) Highest maximum = 11.2 (17th) Lowest maximum = 2.0 (9th) Lowest minimum = -3.9 (7th) Total rainfall = 112.7 mm (203%) Most in a day = 23.8 mm (10th) Winter as a whole was mild (but not as mild as 1997-98 here) and easily the wettest in my records so far. I know it was mild because we weren't snowed in once. All readings (except grass minimum) via a Davis Weather Monitor II, somewhat damaged, until the 25th, and a brand new shiny Davis Vantage Pro 2 thereafter.
