Default Dust fall

Cars smothered in dust concentrated in blobs of evaporated rain in Coulsdon
area of North Downs. Anyone else noticed this in other localities? Colour
white to grey. Occurred overnight.

Ian Currie-Coulsdon, Surrey 5 miles south-southwest of Croydon.

Ian

My wife complained of the same thing when she went to church (0900 service)
this morning - described it as sandy coloured and not easy to clean the car
windscreen. Other cars in vicinity appear to have also been affected.

.... nothing noted here in Bracknell (at least this bit of it): we did
have rain overnight but can't detect anything of the usual suspects
(parked cars etc).

Yes, can see the same here in Wokingham, Ian, on the car windscreen. Don't
know when the few spots of rain fell, overnight sometime I guess, but they
were only a very few.
