Record early 25°C at De Bilt - Netherlands
De Bilt in the Netherlands recorded 27.6°C today. This is the
earliest date in the year that 25°C has been reached there and only 0.2 deg C below the highest April temperature on record of 27.8°C on 21st April 1968. Previous earliest 25°C was on 15th April 1904 when the maximum was 26.4°C. Records at De Bilt go back to 1901. Colin Youngs Brussels |

Record early 25°C at De Bilt - Netherlands
Good evening, all.
After today's scorcher, De Bilt set a new April record today: with +28.9C, this is the warmest April day in De Bilt since the begin of records. Quoting knmi.nl, it was +29.7C in Westdorp, in Zeeland (!). On 21/4/1968, temperatures in Venlo and Gemert reached +32.2C, which still is the April record for the country and the earliest tropical day. Yannis, De Bilt still a hot 27.4C!
