Fairly short but intense thunderstorm during the early afternoon. Also
reported at Exeter airport

First thunderstorm for many months and it felt more like May today with a
max of 18°C.

Notice Shap Fell had around 38mm of rain this afternoon, 21mm falling in 1
hour.
