I had rather forgotten to post this before. I was travelling for a day
out to Brighton from Bedford a month or so ago, using the Thameslink system. Just before the train crossed the Thames, from north to south,, out of the right hand windows I suddenly spotted what I am 90% positive was a Vantage Pro AWS. The odd thing was that it sited more or less at carriage level, on as far as I can remember a flat roof, but somewhat hemmed in I thought. I was so surprised that I exclaimed very loudly to my partner across the gangway, so everyone looked at the moment the 'view' disappeared to be replaced by the standard 'blank' as the train screeched through another tight curve. It was either just before the Thames bridge or just before the last station before the Thames. Hopefully I may have the chance to confirm this R |
