Default Setting myself up with a weather station

I am interested in setting myself up with a computerised weather
station which feeds data into my PC.

Can anyone recommend where to start please and some good types of
station to buy?

TIA

Get this week's edition of Computer Active magazine. There's an article in
there dealing with this very subject.

Which weather parameters are you looking to record?

Can anyone recommend where to start please and some good types of
station to buy?

My budget is fairly flexible - I want to record temps, wind, humidity,
rainfall.

Thanks

My setup is an Oregon Scientific WMR100, about the cheapest available:

using Virtual Weather Station:

http://www.ambientweather.com/virtualstation.html

to send data to Weather Underground:

No problems with it, except the rain gauge occasionally misses light
rain. The batteries have lasted a year and are still going strong.
