I see no reference to individual forcasters email address via the BBC web
site just a Q&A to field most questions. I would like to ask John Hammond
(in my view one of the better presenters) just why on BBC1's 1325 forecast
he waffled on and tried to fill time, then right at the very end showed a
synoptic chart for a just 2 seconds. Anyone know his email address?

No, and if I did I wouldn't tell you. Individual forecasters
can do without that sort of hassle. Send your complaint to the BBC.

I expect that people like you are precisely the reason their email addresses
are not made public.
That and their frequent wrong forecasts.
Regards Mike.

It's why the BBC noticeboards are monitored and the messages are
massaged too. They really are a bunch of ******s.

I agree there weather lawyer, they can't stand the truth if it
clashes with their version of the world- in essence they censor. Their
actuall programming and news content is always stage managed to show a
statistical diversity that doesn't exist. Why even Ludovic Kennedy
moaned about this some years ago and it far worse now

No!

You failed to say something nasty about the BBC. Feck off.

It might be something quite simple, such as a failure of the computer
graphics sequence.

I would like to see some of the miserable so and so's on this ng stand
up in front of millions of viewers live, and continue to ad-lib and
still make sense when technology has let you down.

Not only that, but has it not occurred to some of you on this thread
that the person you are desperate to insult maybe a friend and
colleague of others on here. What gives you the right to make these
ignorant comments about another person, given only the flimsiest of
evidence?

I bet you wouldn't be quite so smug if people started insulting your
friends, assuming you actually have any.

The local presenters have email!

Looks like we are in for some cautious changes:

From the above URL:-
quote
It means phrases such as 'scattered showers' could be ditched and
replaced with the more mathematical '30 per cent chance of rain'.
/quote

'Scattered showers' means a lot more to me than '30 per cent chance of
rain'.
