I drove down the Western section of the M25 from the M4 junction at around 2:30 am that night and my car thermometer - which is pretty accurate when on the move and out of the sun - and it dipped for a short while from -3 deg C to -5 deg C before recovering to -2 deg C before I reached Leatherhead. I didn't note the exact location. :( I'm sure that some places in that area will have had minima at or below -5 deg C - any offers, anyone? -- Dave |
