[WR] 0920Z West Moors -RA BR
.... At 0900Z, rainfall past 24hours (but in fact since start of PPN at
around 22/0500Z) was 0.5 mm. There had been an air/ground frost overnight, but temperatures 'safely' above zero at that time. Still raining (0920Z) with high-base Sc underneath AcAs & visibility ~1500/1800M - I can actually see the edge of the AcAs low down towards the Southampton/Solent horizon, and it's also much brighter/higher base cloud towards the west, so confirming the radarnet indications that we are underneath a narrow band of rain - isolated moderate bursts.
