The BBC forcast was 3c and no fog. If I had known it was going to be
icy I would have covered the car. But because of the BBC inablilty to
forecast the weather I got a bollocking off my boss for being 10 mins
late.

A feeble excuse for being late to work - it's winter, 3c would
probably have been enough to coat your car in frost anyway!

Ah, if you'd said that at the start I would have known what you were
complaining about.

Covering the car is not always a good idea. Could wind up ripping some paint
off the car if the cover freezes to it. When I used to leave the car parked
in the open I'd never use a cover. I'd always give myself plenty of time to
warm the car up so that I wouldn't get problems with the windscreen
fogging/icing up on the inside soon after moving off.
