Default "Live" radar?

Are they any sites that provide "live" (or nearly live) rainfall radar
from the UK? The Met's 30 minute updates aren't quite enough - and the
resolution is low.

Happy to pay as long as it's not massively expensive.

Netweather.tv. 1 km resolution nationwide (zoomable) updated every 5
minutes, around 10 minutes behind "real" time. Something like £20 for
a year's subscription or a few quid for a month. It's a fantastic
service and you'll wonder how you lived without it!

Well I coughed up a few quid to try it out for a month, only to
discover that the radar service is down tonight.

That's not a good start.

Avbrief is down too - looks like the Met Office wants all the hits for
itself tonight

is working fine.
