I'm very fussy, I like the temps not to go lower than 10c in winter and
no higher than 25c in summer. I think a coastal home in Galicia would
suit me to a tee.

You could try Penzance :-)
Seriously, not far off your ideal judging by Graham's reports.

Thank you for the plug!. I might as well cash in on it.

Over the last 16 years (1992-2007)
Average Number of days per annum when:-
Max 25C = 4
Max 10C = 13
Min 0 = 6

Coldest Month since 1992
January '97 at 4.7C
Hottest Month since 1992
July '06 at 19.1C

All this with sunshine, beaches & surf. Yes, no need to be ****ed off
when you can enjoy all this!!

Will, I dont think I have been rude towards you, maybe a little near the
mark but well its certainly not meant to upset intentionally .
I apologise and for future remarks I may make. Obviously everybody is
entitled to their own opinions even you. lol

No probs. I'm a bit tired to be honest, dealing with a beech tree we had
taken down to improve the view. Bit more work than expected and still a lot
of chopping/sawing/shredding to do :-(

Funny how when a tree is standing up there doesn't seem to be very much,
however when it's on the floor you suddenly realise how much wood there is.

I do hope this chopping and saw is a good sign for winter 2008/2009

Absolutely, I got back from Istanbul Saturday night and it was only 20C
there, but after being taken to the wrong airport initially and then been
driven at 150kph along the hard shoulder of the motorway to the right
airport, believe me the fresh cold air ouitside Luton Airport was heaven to
my sweat ridden body!!
Dave

Sweat ridden 20C !!? What are you man or shirt button? ;-))

We were in Tenerife the other week where at 22/23C, plus a stiff trade
wind all the time I found things a tad cool, funny how we all have such
differing perceptions. Still such is life and one thing is for sure the
weather will do what it will and won't be influenced in the slightest by
our individual preferences. May as well make the best of it.

Cheers
