sunny) day of 14C with a fresh wind - a lovely day
anyway Another lovely day in the offing! my backside it is seems like
showers and cloud up there for most of the day. A sunny early morning isnt
THE WHOLE DAY after all is it?

SW Today:
After a dry and bright start, some showers are likely to develop through the
day, the odd one heavy and perhaps thundery. Feeling pleasant in the sunnier
spells between the showers.

I consider that sort of forecast to be a rubbish day. Need a conservatory
for shelter.

Well I live here, and I can assure you that folk round here think it is a
lovely day (talk on dog walk).

Again you don't live here. Dartmoor is a high rainfall area and the risk of
the odd shower deters nobody up here. It does feel very pleasant in the sun.
I'm off out now to enjoy it.

Indeed, and speaking as another who lives in a high rainfall area,
an afternoon shower or two doesn't make it a rubbish day.
It might be raining for half an hour or so in an otherwise farly
sunny day.
