says it all really all hype whilst I agree its raining since about 9'ish AM
its mostly very light or continuous light drizzle with even bright spells in west London. I think this is same for further north of London too. I guess its all tipped out across the south west. Took long enough to even arrive here as well this morning. Dave R. |

Ah this is more like it but it took its time to come 14.53hrs now and its
"official rain" the sort that bounces off the pavement not heavy but light. Though how nuch of this before it peters out i'd be surprised Dave R. |

Over half an inch of it so far at a guess (had a quick glance at the rain guage but I wasn't staying out there to measure it!). From the radar, Nigel in Romsey should have had more than me. That'll take it well over 50mm here, for the month to date. Enough! I say *squelch*. -- Dave Fareham (West) |

I can vouch for that. I was thoroughly soaked by the time I had cycled from Southampton Central to my office 6 miles away this morning. At least we have showers in the building so I can get clean and dry! Jonathan |

I've had 11mm so far which doesn't sound much but that's 32 mm this week, which is a lot for here! Dave, Laindon, S.Essex. -- |

I estimate 90mm on the most exposed Tors. http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Hayt...antage_Pro.htm http://www.dartcom.co.uk/index.php and it's still heaving down at 3.3 mm/h here. Circa 170mm in the month so far. Will -- |

Another burst of mod to heavy rain as I type, so the totals listed below for Romsey are rapidly becoming out of date. Last 12 hours (09/0900-09/2100Z)... 26.5mm Last 24 hours (08/2100-09/2100Z)... 38.2mm Month to date.................................... 66.1mm Nigel (Romsey, Hampshire) |
