We're realy looking forward to coming to Cornwall next week and the
forecast looks promising. Four nights at St Mawes then three nights at
St Ives. We're hoping to do the Eden Project and The lost Gardens of
Heligan, plus even might get on the beach :-)

Not a bad ol' day here too, not as warm as yesterday but pleasant enough
with sunshine and just a bit of cloud build-up as the afternoon wore on. A
max of 21.4°C.

Well, the first half of July has been in everyway as disappointing as last
year's July and with only 71 hours of sunshine (29% of the total possible
sunshine) it has been depressingly cloudy most of the time.

1st - 15th Averages
Min 11.7°C
Max 19.5°C
Mean 15.6°C
Rain 84.9 mm

Methinks that the 2nd half of this July is going to be much, much better
(fingers crossed). It may even end up above average to continue 7
consecutive months of above average temperatures ..... hmmmm, that's a long
shot.
