Default Storm over East Berkshire

....according to the radar display. I'm pretty certain this is what
I can see the top of, well to the south of me, initially partly lit
by the setting sun, and after the sun had gone periodically lit
internally by flickers of lightning.

Wokingham 2100z.
I have just come in from watching a fairly spectacular lightning display, to
the NNW from Wokingham. Not so far away at first, nearest about 5 km.
Thunder between 2014 and 2035z Lightning frequent at times, probably about
20 flashes per minute. No rain here.

yep lightning and lots of it and some deep rumbles of thunder heard
from Aylesbury , kept a dozen youngsters entertained and me with my
radio on MW giving them a weather lesson , some good mammatus on the
anvil ,must of been a corker who ever got that one . did seem to die
lightning wise quite rapidly around 10.05pm . lighting up the anvil
reminded me of storms in the carribean
