That's the problem with your average foetus, very poor at making travel
arrangements.

LOL!

Come come Dave ,Joe the B..... maybe a self publicist but he does stick his

I don't mind that kind of speculation, cos at least it tries to address the
possibilties, and he would be the first to acknowledge his failings.
Self delusionists like the dreaded P.Corbyn just plough on completely
ignoring their frequent failures, ably abetted by our gutter press .
What goes around comes around ,and just because the Scan High has deserted
us for so long that does not mean it's deceased !,

I thought that I'd get this in before my friend Piers Corbyn so I can sue
him when he uses it! Not that I think it's going to be like that, even if
the other self publicist Joe *******i does:-

I still find it impossible to grasp as to why some folks want
freezing
weather,

I much prefer it to be -5C to 0C than 0C to +5C, the former is
cold and
dry, just put another layer on. The latter is cold and damp,
you can't do
anything to keep out the damp.

I'm with you on that. Especially if it's frosty and sunny with
it.

Of course Scandinavia is not cold atm.

It isn't Scaandinavia that you should be watching.

Greenland has a high over it if it builds and the low NW of Scotland
deepens when the one to the west of it catches up...

That's what you should be looking at. If it stays low enough when they
concert it may just impact the southern Baltic.

Then we will have snow.

Or perhaps they just want to see GW supporters proven wrong?

I dare someone to email Joe *******i's page to the Daily Express, and
we take bets on the amount of hyperbole in the headline.

"Big freeze" 2 to 1 on
"Siberian" evens.
"Ice age" 2 to 1
"Day after Tomorrow" 5 to 1.

Must admit, nothing about any of the models looks that severe to me, raw
yes, but more likely drizzle here in Southend-on-Sea, there doesn't seem
to be any deep cold push coming round the back and that northerly second
hit seems to have gone now :-(

Agree that the source of the easterly isn't cold which will dampen
spirits for those wanting snow but the agreement between the models is
heartening for an easterly...
