Hi

You will have seen occasional posts from me, but I can confirm that Will has
had a long career inthe Met Office. Will and I were on the same initial
course. He was top then and he still his top! Hope you don't mind me saying
this Will!

Will,

Can I ask a personal question?

What is your background, have you, or do you still work for the Met
Office, because your forecasts are far better than any I see on the
Met Office Website, or the BBC.

Regards,

Bonos Ego.

Oh boy look at 'em, Christmas puke job in this thread. The Hound must
have a halo bigger than a hula hoop if that can be big enough.

No I haven't seen any actually but maybe its an easy forgettable name I just
didn't notice.
Youy certainly won't forget me in a hurry though, if for very different
reasons.

but I can confirm that Will has had a long career inthe Met Office.

Who's asking for confirmation? I don't give two hoots as to his meritable
status
fact is he drives me nuts

course. He was top then and he still his top! Rob

As top as Bert Foord was you mean (as if) no way.

Dave R,

Why to you post on this forum?

I asked the question about Will, as I didn't know whether Will was a
professional meteorologist, amateur meteorologist or just an
enthusiast?

I find his forecasts both useful and informative to someone that lives
in the same neck of the woods as me.

Do you have a problem with this?

If so, may I suggest that you quietly close the door on the way out
and, post your low life bully boy comments on some other forum.

Merry Christmas to you!

You may find a part anwer to your question below PaulC uncontributory effort

Yes I do, you have the West Country Complex basically the pack mentality.

If so, may I suggest that you quietly close the door on the way out

How's about if you all do? that would be the best idea

The misconception here is that others are contributory in their comments.. I
don't agree.

I mostly winge on about what others say, particulary
1: those that bolster up "The Hound" of the Tor and grovel to whatever
rubbish forecast (because its usual biased in such manner towards his way of
wanting things) he brings forth. He must have done one recently because I
see more west country types joining the fan club.
2. I winge also In order to bring some sense to the newsgroup because there
are a lot who constantly also winge on about whether the conditions will
bring much awaited cold weather (for them, because it may bring a smattering
of silly snow, total loosers they are) but worse is who automatically assume
in their blog that everybody else thinks the same. Well I got news for
hem *- NO, not everyone does so they needn't show off.

Not everyone, by quite a long chalk. The enthusiasm for
cold weather and disappointment when it fails to materialise often
reaches levels that can only be described as rather silly (and
tiresome). A one-eyed forecaster always operates at a disadvantage.
This is science, not arts, politics or journalism, after all.
