Bitterly cold night on the cards in Brussels
 

Brussels on Friday 9th January

Cloudless and sunny but with a pall of brownish haze along the
horizon. A freezing day with severe frost this morning. Very
little wind.

Another extremely cold night to come. The sky is clear and the moon
is bright and Brussels Airport is already reporting -12°C at 23.00
local time; at Uccle it was -8.2°C an hour ago at 22.00.

Brussels Uccle -0.2°C - overnight minimum -10.9°C.
Brussels Airport -5.1°C - overnight minimum -9.3°C.

Notably colder at Brussels Airport than in the city wtih mist most of
the day.
