Not good news for all you cold weather fans.
Moscow this morning plus 2,most of Finland above freezing and wet in the south, All eyes are now on Will and his wintery outbreak off the Atlantic next weekend,Scotland may cop it but it is very rare for southern Britain to experience much from such a setup. Once again the Scan. High goes into hiding until it's very unwelcome presence in the Spring. All eyes are on you now Will.... RonB |

Sunday/Monday look to be the chilliest on the latest progs, but I doubt I'll see any more than sleet/snow pellets here on low ground in NI. -- Mike Tullett - Coleraine 55.13°N 6.69°W posted 13/01/2009 11:33:04 GMT |

Dave Having played [at] cricket at 6pm on a dull, numbingly cold day in mid-summer with heavy drizzle being driven across the ground by a strong west wind, I'd've preferred a SE zephyr on a sunny evening in May when the temperature had been in the mid-twenties. Admittedly, the temperature can drop a bit quickly during the evening and a sweater might have been needed but I wouldn't have minded that. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. If the pushes of cold air remain south of east we may have a period of interesting weather. Dave S |
