RMK: Large snowflakes, suggesting significant instability. About 3cm
on the ground. There hasn't been any drifting overnight but the snow
is very powdery and will readily drift if the wind freshens.

RMK: Large snowflakes, suggesting significant instability. About 3cm
on the ground. There hasn't been any drifting overnight but the snow
is very powdery and will readily drift if the wind freshens.

0900z NNW F3 8000 HZ RE-SHSN 1St007 3Sc030 -03.1/-05.1 1004
RMK: Continuous snow stopped around 0730z and cloud broke. Now
spells of sunshine with just a brief snow flurry. 4cm on the ground. No
drifting.
09-09z: Tx 0.8 (1135z) Tn -3.5 (1915z) Tg -4.9 (under snow) RR 3.0

RMK: Looks like today's "big event" is just setting in here. Traffic on our

has come to a standstill. Don't know about the main road through the
village. Drifts now about half a metre deep.
