This cam comes in handy when choosing a live web cam to view.

Thank you! I obviously have made an enemy. I'm still waiting to see a
web page he or she has published.

Web tv was berated by this person. In fact, both Bob and I are both
proficient with PCs and use them a lot.

What he or she does not realise is that it is populated by many retired
engineers, who invented the internet and wrote the programming codes so
he or she could sit there and just hit keys to have fun.

We do use the PC a lot, but we have more fun on web tv.

To write web pages it requires having a web domain to make the pages.
Both of us have those things.

It also requires the programing skills to write it. Both Bob and I have
that knowledge.

I'm still waitng to see a web page he or she has published.

I googled butchnova + spam and came up with spaceman site

http://www.wtv-zone.com/spacemany/links.html

They're just hunting for traffic.... notice each link they give is to their
own websites...

Mostly lists of links... Not found a single post that hasn't contained a
link to his own website..

Recognise the style?

http://community-2.webtv.net/SongOfS...NCE/page6.html

Plus their capitalisation is getting me down, for me they're spoiling the
atmosphere of the place. Might just be me being a grumpy old scrote but i'm
happier with them killfiled.

As our colonial friends say.. YMMV

You still haven't shown me me a web page you've written. All you do is
bitch.

You don't even have the courage to post your complete e-mail address.
That says a lot about your character.

Get real and clean the mirror off over your bathroom sink.

Take a bath while you are in there.

Get real.

You know what, I don't *care* about your silly arguments over
web tv. You come onto this newsgroup and immediately you start
arguing, in this case with someone who hasn't posted here before either,
so I can only imagine you two are chasing each other through the internet,
and happen to have landed here.

So just bugger off, eh?

OK, I will stop talking to this person in the group. I only want to
post on the weather. I can't believe it got to this. I will ignore this
person and stick to weather. Thanks for your input. Groups should stay
clear of this sort of thing.

How, precisely, does Butch's inter-personal diatribe above contribute to
our knowledge of the science of weather? Seems to be neither useful,
beautiful or even interesting in any way.

That said, I rather assume that a MetO forecast minimum of 5 - I assume
plus 5 - for this part of SW Surrey means that I should still shut the
greenhouse, anyway.

Thankful for the mild weather forecast this week - replacement window
time.
