Hey, Yannis --
Fresh rememberance, only about 14 days ago, of a swealtering Athens; where
even the breezes felt noticably hot! Oh, well, we survived the lovely
historical sites and ancient places with a hat, lots of water and the
madness of real tourists :-).

Looking at the maps some similarities are to be found in an area of desert
heat and dust spreading its tongue over Greece to the northeast. I guess
that's where the current temps are coming from :-)
