You know what I find interesting... my in-laws go south each year for
the winter to their place in Florida. They say that in the last
fifteen years they have been going down there, they have seen no sea
level rise that is noticeable, and neither have the fishing boat
owners that they go out fishing with.
By the way, they live half a mile from the beach and docks, and
spend a lot of time at the beach and going out fishing..

The documented sea level rise over 15 years has been
about 2 mm per year, so would they notice a 1.20 inch rise?

Sea level as a particular spot may change more than
that due to the solar tide.

You would notice a 1.20 inch rise over a day or two. But would you
notice a 1.2 inch rise spread over a 10 - 20 year time period???

I very much doubt it.

•• You would never know a 1.2 inch rise over 7
days or over 20 years. The ocean's are not at
all static. The tides rise and fall twice a day.
In Saint John NB the height difference from
low to high tide is approximately 8 metres
(28 ft). How are you going to get a sea level
there?

You can tell all the campfire stories you want.
They will never add up to a single entry of
organized scientific data.
Florida is not the globe.
The GLOBAL sea level is rising.

•• Roger is forever wrong. Statistics is not science
and your links are useless

–– ––
In real science the burden of proof is always on
the proposer, never on the sceptics. So far
neither IPCC nor anyone else has provided one
iota of valid data for global warming nor have
they provided data that climate change is being
effected by commerce and industry, and not by
natural phenomena.
