I don't mean to be a pain (well, any more than I usually am!)... but if
you make a post using words like "here", could you please explicitly
state where "here" is each time? Anyone who doesn't use this NG on a
regular basis is not going to know!

And even some of us who are regular members can have forgotten,
maybe momentarily, where someone is posting from. Very irritating if
the poster has something interesting to say. Could we make it a
convention to put your location at the end of the posting, or at least
somewhere?

Hi, David at Langtoft, East Riding and Dave at Howhill near Alston (;

All gone now down here, a few snow showers this morning, soon turning
sleety. Turning back to snow now (1545Z)
Day max struggled to 2.8C in spite of 2.6hr sunshine.

Excellent. Thank you!

(Pan strips out sigs when quoting, so this reply looks a bit silly, but
your actual post was great.)
