Things seem to be heading in the right direction now, some cold has now
made it Helsinki and Warsaw. I've added a little more detail in the
locations, namely altitude.

Cooling trend is definitely there. Hope I haven't imposed a burden on you

For what little it's worth, those maxima (for the 12th) are generally lower

20th,21st Dec in 1962,
maxima were at or below -20c over much of northern and central Europe east
of 20degreesE longitude.
It will be interesting to see whether this figure can be achieved this time.

Currently +0.5 C here in Coleraine and had to de-ice daughter's car at
12.30Z
