don't, or having to leave the boiler on at night to stop freezing in one of
the feed pipes. 9 days of frost and snow on the ground is enough for me
now.

Blizzard? - last one here was in the 80's. Currently (09:00) 11.2C in

I took the dog out at around 7 am in St Andrews and the place was like
a skating rink with the park i went into almost un-walkable. People's
driveways were just 2 inches of bumpy shiny ice. Rain on Sunday on top
of snow and then quickly frozen was the cause. No one can like that
situation.

I understand exactly what you're saying Brian, but you would be amazed
at what the Internet coldies dream of all the way through Spring,

Yes Mike so true, in my head I'm some twenty years younger back at 27
...........I wish.
If a severe consistent cold spell comes off to add to our December
experience then the novelty and desire for cold snow conditions would soon
wear of thin.

Its been a case of the last couple of decades of absence makes the heart
grow fonder.

S couple of years of this and there would be a bring on Global warming
campaign.
