Dumb Britain. News comment - "it's only 2 degrees warmer than the South Pole
here". No qualification. Actually nearly vaguely true. -23C max in mid-summer at South Pole. -21C minimum in Scottish Highlands. So what? See the, media are spot on with their facts. Tom Bennett would laugh at the reporter in Writtle, standing next to a dry clear main road saying how treacherous driving conditions were and how nobody could commute to work. She was surrounded by, ermm, 10 cm max of snow but stated the whole surrounding area is experiencing more heavy snow and EVEN more tonight. Not true. This was London News but they could have least gone somewhere with a bit more snow. Dave P.S I've driven all around S.Essex and the edge of Greater London today and except for extremely minor roads they were all perfectly normal! |
