Default [WR] The thaw begins in Norfolk!

At last! The sound we haven't heard since last year.

The sound of steady rain on the conservatory roof, and dripping outside.

Hooray!

+1.2

RAF Marham is 6 miles away, and is report +1/+1 for temp/dp.

It's VERY windy - so the thaw is turbo charged.

Just noticed my temperature here at Southend-on-Sea is +0.2°C, however,
the majic dew point is still -3.4°C, so I won't start throwing my toys
out yet.

I'm a little surprised. It could be rather nasty if it subsequently
freezes again.

Keith I have this bad feeling after looking at Jon's link
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/p...nt/weathermap/
and now the fact that Jon's says it may push further north coupled to Chris
reporting rain. Well I think we'll see rain/sleet in the SE later not snow.

Lets face Swaffam isn't exactly on the coast.

Ah, is that an AWS that can't tell the difference between rain and snow?
