It was nice having the sun shine into my bedroom (for the first time this year, as a building blocks out sunrise during the darkest time of the year) but the morning and the lunchtim has been overcast and damp. Having said that, by one measure, it's now spring. Spring can be defined as the time when cold ceases to be the most desirable thing in the forecast, to be replaced by dryness and sunshine... :-) Nick |

![]() Yes keep up Mark ![]() Thanks Dave, I do still love playing football but tend to play more tennis these days, either way have to go through the pain barrier I'm afraid ![]() Still sunny here up to 6 hours now & counting. Temp up to 5.6c Would be nice to keep this next week instead of the dreaded low pressure with it's slush & muck!!! Seems this windows 7 email as a mind of it's own!!! Graham |

I drove over the Cat & Fiddle road (summit 515m) to Macclesfield and back yesterday. Still some seriously deep snow drifts up there. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |

Sunny and dry here, with a light northerly. Not as cold for painting today and two coats on ready for the rain tomorrow! Now looking for a dry day to get the last coat on. Might be in March with those charts! *)) |

Ground still frozen here so I'm rather hoping for snow as opposed to freezing rain/sleet. I think it will turn to snow here later tomorrow. Car all packed and ready with snow removing/coping equipment. Will -- |

Yes Norman always plenty of snow up there even is a warmer winter than this one! Not been up for a while, may venture up there next weekend ![]() I'm not expecting much snow here, if any but would imagine them getting a fair bit next week! Graham |
