Brussels icily cold - another 3 cm snow this evening
 

Brussels on Wednesday 1st December 2010

Rather cloudy at first but bright with weak sunshine and areas of high and
medium-level cloud from late morning to early afternoon. Overcast again
from mid-afternoon.

Light snow started about 17.00 local time - dense small flakes at times,
sparse grains at others. Still snowing steadily now at 22.30 - new
accumulation seems to be about 3 cm.

Very cold with a sharp and icy ENE wind. Highest temperature at the start
of the day: just above -5°C. Around -7°C by mid-evening.
