Default Iberian Climate Atlas

AEMET (the Spanish state meteorological agency) and IM (their Portuguese
counterparts) recently published the first combined Iberian Climate Atlas.
Based on data for 1971-2000, the atlas contains maps showing distribution of
various aspects of temperature and rainfall across the entire Iberian
peninula (and Balearic islands), including annual, seasonal and monthly
variations, as well as a Koppen classification for the region.
It is quite comprehensive - to give just one example of the details covered,
there are maps which chart "number of days with minimum temperature = 20C"
(annual and seasonal).

The document is now publicly available in electronic form (PDF, 13.7MB):

ico/Atlas.pdf
(Note: link split over two lines for Usenet)
The accompanying text is in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

BTW I am not in any way connected to this publication, just an interested
reader. Hopefully some of you will also find it interesting.
