Looking at the Met Office outlook to the next 30 days suggests the weather is set to carry on with the cool, unsettled theme. Unless there is another weather regime flip in August this will probably go down as another mediocre summer. Arguably much better than a serious, prolonged drought though. I'm off to Sutherland for a walking holiday at the end of July, so hoping (but not expecting) for some settled conditions around then.
