Fairly localised heavy showers across NE Spain and into SW France. Quoted figures are for airport. Figures for Barcelona centre were around 12mm. |

The figures I got from official Spanish Met Agency we 12th 0.3mm (all in period 18-24h) 13th 0.0mm 14th 33.2mm (00-06h 22.0mm, 06-12h 11.2mm) 15th 35.2mm (all in 00-06h) http://www.aemet.es/es/eltiempo/obse...s?k=cat&l=0076 Discrepancies with yours may be because of different start time for 24hr cycle. |

Today's weather in Spain has been what you might call a "north-south split", with the northern third suffering wet and cool (UK-like!) conditions, while the south (particularly south-east) swelters. I haven't seen the final figures, but a 20 deg difference was forecast between 18C for San Sebastian (north coast) and 38C for Murcia (inland south-east), with even the coastal areas of Valencia and Alicante not far behind at 36C. |
