[ WR ] West Moors/E.Dorset 18AUG2011 rainfall
.... rain total in the 'rain-day' 18th August = 47.4 mm, and in the
'standard' day 00-24 = 53.4mm Hurn packed up unfortunately, but interpolating between us and the two Springbourne figures would suggest that they should have been in the 'upper 50s' mm for the standard day. Dense fog for a short time early on, but a lovely day in prospect now. Martin. -- Martin Rowley West Moors, East Dorset (UK): 17m (56ft) amsl Lat: 50.82N Long: 01.88W NGR: SU 082 023 |

I went to Bournemouth in the afternoon where at 1400 the dramatic flooding ( well not really) had dropped a lot. The morning in Blandford had some rumbles of thunder and I think higher totals than I got at Hilton. R Hilton |
