Default Just When You Thought it Couldn't Get Worse

It doesn't!

Of course knowing the GFS and its ability to chuck up ridiculous
situations out of the blue , maybe that's just what it is ;as
mischievous mirage.

It did the same on the 12z several nights ago where it gave us almost
an Easterly for Christmas only, without a bye your leave or apology,
never to show it again.
I believe this GFS computer is based in the US I would love to go
around there wherever it lives and give it a good kick in the hard
drives; bloody useless thing.

What do you expect looking at dynamical model forecasts for two weeks ahead?

Do you really expect there to be any significant skill at that lead time?

I expect people like you to take it as a bit of banter and not get
your knickers in a twist over it.

"Giving it a good kicking" is you getting your knickers in a twist,
larry. It's because you actually believe single runs of the gfs at
distance and constantly try to cherry pick them through the winter to
try to get someone to believe you know something and that it is going
to get colder. Then, in hindsight, when you see you've made an idiot
of yourself *again* for doing it, you try to get us to believe the
model is at fault!

Don't worry; we know better. It's not the gfs model, honestly, it's
not! *))

too! Oh I feel so stupid now.
