Hail, thunder and lightning in Brussels early this evening
 

Brussels on Wednesday 11th April 2012

Sunny start but vigorous convection from mid-morning. Sunny intervals in
the afternoon but large and extensive Cu/Cb made it rather cloudy most of
the time. Abrupt but brief squally shower at 17.15 local time. Another
shower at 18.15 with hail and several flashes of lightning and sharp peals
of thunder. Thunder and lightning again around 18.50. Light to moderate
SSW to SW wind became light SSE to S in the evening.
