I'm only posting this here because the caption includes "Global warming.?"
However, it's not everyone who comes home from holiday with a video like this. It's surprising how little is left above the surface after it's all over. http://www.videobash.com/video_show/...arctica-254769 jim, Northampton |

A little too close for comfort, note that when it starts to go the engine goes straight to full revs to get the F out but they are still within range of the flying lumps of ice. It's surprising how little is left above the surface after it's all over. Only about 1/10th of a lump of floating ice is above the water. Before it collapses it's riddled with cracks so will have broken up considerably. By the end they are also considerably further away... -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |
