One question to everyone, Oslo seems to have stopped reporting temperatures, any ideas of what location in Norway to replace it with ? Were you using somewhere in the city centre or the airport? 01384 Oslo/Gardermoen(204m) That's interesting. I was digging around on my own, and found this page: http://www.ogimet.com/display_indica...rway&Send=Send which reckons that the altitude is 20m! Actually I may as well use: 01492 Oslo/Blindern(96m) As that doesn't have an ICAO code attached, I imagine that is the one station of the three listed on that page not to be located at an airport. That probably means that its conditions will be more representative of the built-up area of the city. According to this page: http://www.ogimet.com/cgi-bin/gsynre...a=18&ind=01384 Gardermoen is still reporting max and min temperatures, so it looks as though the problem may lie with the site that you get your data from. -- John Hall "Whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong." I've also updated my Asia spreadsheet over the last few weeks. A number of Siberian locations seemed to have change their climatic reporting times. for max min temperatures and also snoe depth, the latter I noticed as it was 24688 Ojmjakon(741m), so tonights now shows 30cm snow depth. It appears at 21hr time now.
If anyone spot an error on any of them please drop me a line and I will correct it/them, as I'm sure there are many. Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |
