I can't believe that Odiham had 2 mm of pptn in the past 24 hours, Colin.
They have had either CAVOK, BR or FZFG throughout.

2 mm was reported in the 18.00 synop for the previous 12 hours. Perhaps should have been 0.2 mm ? Thanks for pointing it out.

There seems to be a similar mistake today (Wednesday). Wattisham reported 2 mm rainfall for the 12-hour period 06.00 to 18.00, but there is no sign of it in the hourly reports http://tinyurl.com/bo4bnrp .
